My Make-up Essentials

Make-up can really make a huge difference in your appearance, and to be honest give you that extra boost of confidence. Being said that I love make-up and everything it does. I still find it hard to spend over $30 on one product. Do you know how many shots you can get for that?! But in all seriousness, I do prefer to get my make-up from the drugstore because it's much better on my wallet. And at the same time I feel so much more resourceful, go figure. But here are just a few products that I absolutely cannot live without! The links will be attached to all the products ;)

Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Luminous Foundation

I first bought this foundation spontaneously one day, and I'm so glad I did. The word luminous is definitely what caught my attention. I always want a fresh and dewy finish to my skin, and I feel as though it makes you look more awake and youthful. Plus I find a lot of matte foundations can sink into any fine lines you may have and make them look worse. This doesn't happen with this one. Another big reason why I love this foundation is because of the color. I find that, because I'm so fair at times a lot of foundations will look orange and unnatural. I get the shade 02 in Vanilla, and it's the most beautiful tone I could ever ask for.

Milani Baked Blush

On the subject of luminous and glowing skin, this is forever going to be a favorite blush of mine. I get it in the shade Luminoso 05, and it gives you the healthiest looking skin. And when in direct sunlight, it makes such a pretty and natural glow. Almost as though you drink 8 glasses of water a day haha.

L'Oreal Lineur Itense

I can't tell you how many times I get asked on a daily basis what eye liner I use. This felt tip liner makes it so easy to make whatever shape and size you want. And it's very long lasting. I've worn this on countless nights out in Washington DC, Richmond Va, And Va beach and it will still be on the next morning! I don't recommend wearing your make-up over night, but you get the idea.

Kiss False Lashes

It has taken me a while to get on the trend of false eye lashes. I keep having flash backs of the girl in art class in 12th grade, with her obnoxiously thick fake lashes completely putting a shadow over her iris. I was afraid to be that girl haha. And to be perfectly honest..... I'm still trying to learn how to get them on right. But with many fails I've mastered my own perfect way for my eye shape! These lashes(in # 11) looked a little intense when I first saw them but, when you have them on your eyes they look flawless. And a little trick I've learned is, to cut them in half and stick them on the outer edge of your eye. It gives you this sexy cat like effect that boys can't resist ;)
